Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse is proud to partner with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

Nearly 1 in 100 Americans are impacted by IBD, and Sam Romano is one of them. He was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at a young age, and therefore, is familiar with the disease and how it can affect children and adults. Today, Sam serves on the Northern Texas/Oklahoma Chapter foundation board. ​

Chef Samir and his wife, Lori Dhurandhar, are the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Night of Champions committee members. This annual dinner honors individuals for their commitment to the organization and raises critical funds for research. Lori, who was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the age of 21, and Sam have made it their mission to share their stories to bring more awareness to a health issue that is often referred to as an invisible disease.
